One word: Solitaire. A visual reference that we, children of the 90’s, get and love. In Romanian the word books also refers to playing cards; there you have it: an analogy worth turning into a visual identity. A playful approach to the national book design competition, using dynamic visuals. We decided to take it a step forward and make the catalogue into a deck of cards. Each shortlisted book on a card, photographs on the front and information on the back, all fit into a colorful hand-crafted pack.
