"Marble has multiple meanings and references, especially in terms of its use throughout the history of art, as well as a reference to the landscape and the process of mountain extraction and exploitation. However, my interest in materials arose from the idea of 'in between,' from the need to discover what happens when everything is still in a state of potential.

Here I Stood speaks about the attempt to reconstitute the memory of a home - the indexing of an emotion, of details. It is a process that involves the appropriation of both a thought from the past and a present place, reconnecting, exploring, and understanding space in a current context.
