In 2019, Sounds like a Book left behind the urban space in order to facilitate the interaction with a variety of sounds during the research and recording process.
More than a tool, adjacent or disposable, print has become an integrated part of expression for many artists nowadays. We worked with the participants towards translating their concepts into a printed form. Understanding format, paper type, weight, binding, layout, is key in finding a symbiosis between one’s concept, art practice and the physical printed object.
Ten tough days with ten very different artists, each with his/ her own rhythm, working with two mediums, which were for most of them unexplored, resulting in ten unique publications, done in the image and likeness of their creators.
